Council Reflection for ACY 2017-18

During the school year, the middle school council has worked on and finished many projects! The council was involved in the helping of the creation of events such as; Fun Run, Shark Guardians, Middle School Games, Valentines Day, Spelling Bee, Music Challenge, and many more! They worked hard to achieve these goals and in result lead lots of the school activities along with their own personal student led events. They created student led clubs which had zero teacher influence to guide them and managed to pull them off successfully and effectively! During the shark guardians the council worked hard to raise fund for the NGO by selling products and creating many games for everyone to enjoy. 2017-2018 MS Camp

This year, our Middle Schoolers were out in Suan Pheung for the annual overnight camp. 2 big buses took us out to the scenic surroundings and rustic hotel that would be our home for the time there. Students got together in teams across grade levels to promote our sense of community and worked well with both friends and teachers over the 3 days / 2 nights that we were away. As many of you would have heard, there were many memorable moments, there was laughter, screams, tears and plenty of smiles. With abseiling, paintball, rock climbing, dessert making among the activities not to mention interesting student led drama in the evening, there was lots of fun to be had by all. We look forward to next year!

Tusker Awards May 25th, 2018

This past Friday, we celebrated our students' success from throughout the year and across the grade levels. This year saw a wide variety of certificates being handed out with the final awards being for our ESLRs: Effective Communicator, Lifelong Learner, Global Citizen, and Critical Thinker.
